Do I need a referral?

No. You can book a consultation directly. If you already have a care team, our doctors can support your existing treatment plan.

Can the consultation be online?

Yes. You can choose to meet your doctor online or in person, depending on what works best for you.

What happens during my first appointment?

You will meet with a doctor who will take time to understand your symptoms, medical history and goals. Together you will discuss possible strategies and evaluate what type of plan suits you best.

What happens after I book?

After booking, you will receive access to a secure portal where you can upload any relevant medical information. This helps your doctor prepare and ensures your consultation is focused on your needs.

Who pays for the services of Anodyne Care?

Many have a private healthcare insurance, and you should check with them for sure. In some instances, you may also be able to get a partial refund through the public healthcare system. However, you typically have to pay our fees. We are working to be able to offer payment plans and monthly subscription plans to help you spread the cost over time.

What is the difference between Anodyne Care and other pain clinics?

High accessibility for patients and very high degree of medical quality is at the core of our mission. We offer a high degree of online consultations, since we know that this also meets the need for many patients. We do, however, also offer physical consultations as required.

Anodyne Care is a private healthcare provider, which is founded by doctors and operated by doctors and other professionals with years of experience in the healthcare sector. We are a Scandinavian company with the ambition to offer the Anodyne Care services transnationally in Europe. Presently, we are engaging the markets in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

Should I tell my primary care provider or hospital department about Anodyne Care?

Once you become a patient of Anodyne Care, we do encourage that you – and upon your acceptance also we – communicate with your primary care physician or hospital specialist to coordinate the efforts surrounding you with the mutual goal of improving your quality of life. This will be part of our conversation with you during consultations.
